Weddings
Civil ceremony:
Live harp music at weddings creates a unique atmosphere. This unique opportunity is having its comeback in other countries. There is a reason why couples choose live harp music as musical background during one of their most significant moments of their lives. The sound of the harp provides an intimate and elegant atmosphere during any celebration. The music is already playing when the guests arrive and follows throughout the entire ceremony (walking up the aisle, signing, exchange of rings, poems, lightning of candles, words of congratulations). The music pieces can be chosen during a personal meeting; the repertoire has many possibilities. Besides classical music, there are also movie soundtracks, musicals, chansons, Latin and Irish melodies, Jazz and Pop.
Church ceremony:
The acoustics of the church enhances the sound of the harp beautifully and provides a lasting experience during the ceremony. The guests can occupy their seats while the music is playing, then after the arrival of the bridal couple, the chosen songs are played as part of the ceremony. At the end, during the congratulating and leaving, harp music is playing as well. Additionally, I recommend this for small churches too, where it is not possible for organ music to be played due to limited space.
